The police post was named after the late Samora, who passed away 2003, if I'm not wrong. I grew up in the area between 1998 and 2002, and got to know him just a bit. Samora's family (his sister Vivian, his Mom and his Dad) lived in a house right next to Mutungoni Academy. He was a fun-loving guy. He always carried lots of chocolate and candy to school in his bag, and wasn't mean with them. He knew how to drive in primary school, which was considered a big deal back then. He didn't pay that much attention in class, LOL. He'd use his desk as a dashboard, and his ruler as the steering wheel. The teachers would COMPLAIN! Mom was a teacher in the school, so I have some copies of his report cards. Coolest guy I knew. All the girls wanted to be with him, all the boys wanted to be like him. He passed on in a car accident. R.I.P., Samora. Stay cool.
