The silence of dead ruins run the vegetated old mnarani town. Oceans casted to the north of the site;famous Kilifi Creek.

The only historical site nearest to kilifi town. It has beautiful scenery with an addition of Snake Park. The tour guide is cool and interactive.

Historic and scenic. The guides are well informed and demonstrate a sincere willingness to share information. It is a remnant of an Immanate headquarters, dating back to 15th century. This place will tell you an exciting story of an ancient arabic civilization right at the coast of Kenya. A lot may have been swallowed up and destroyed by weather effects and overgrown vegetation, but the remnant mosques, tombs and writings leave behind the real story.

A place rich in historical background about Swahili Settlements and Culture in Kenya. Walk through the ruins composing of ancient mosques, several tombs and cultural sites, then finish with a snake park at the foot of the Museum! Though the snake park looks a bit neglected with only few snake species available to scare/ excite visitors :(
