We learnt how to make mozzarella cheese and it tasted really good. The students got to make their own pizzas and milk the cow. The lemonade and ice creams were very refreshing and fresh.

The Farm Visit at Brown's is an experience to behold. After a quick (and tasty) snack, we were taken on a tour of the factory. Brown's is a small-scale producer of high-quality cheese, and after seeing them in action, you may never want to buy other cheeses again! Obviously, the visit includes a very nice lunch with wine. After some thorough cheese tasting, we were reminded that there was actually a main course afterwards! It was hardly necessary, as the cheese and crackers were more than enough. They were generous with the wine too! Browns also make ice cream. While the parents didn't have much space left, the kids were more than ready to step in! Book at least a week or two in advance. This thing is becoming popular!

One of the most interesting things to do in Kenya! We had know idea there was a factory that employs 150 people making the best ice cream and cheese in Africa. The tour was so informative and we were incredibly impressed with the state of the art manufacturing methods used to create the most delicious cheese. We stayed for lunch which featured many of the homemade cheeses served in a spectacular garden over looking the estate. Purity was our guide and hostess and she took wonderful care of our group. This is a must stop when visiting Nairobi and be sure to stay for lunch as it is an amazing treat!
