Amazing destination, not so far from Rongai and generally one and half hour from Nairobi CBD. The nyama choma is good. If you are a group you can actually buy a whole goat at 6k and have it made for you at 3k. You can also bring in your drinks if you like but there is a fee you have to pay, but still you can buy drinks there. Also you can swim at 350ksh per person.

Was the first time I visited the place on week day. Been there mostly on weekends. The nyama choma of course never disappoints. It was more relaxed and enjoyable with less traffic. Would recommend it to meat lovers...
Craving a road trip out of Nairobi and some good food to top it of? Olepolos is definately a plan! Its particularly know for its Nyama choma . Lots of seating spaces (spread out the place). You have the option of carrying your own food and drinks but corkage fee will apply. They also have a swimming pool, playarea for the kids and a few cottages for those who'd like to spend over. One last thing, its built on a 'hilly' section; the views of the sorrounding landscape is A1
Excellent picnic area. Not far from Nairobi city. Great tasty Nyama Choma (Roasted Goat Meat). Excellent views of surrounding hills including Ngong hills. Children friendly, although not much available for children to play with. It can get crowded on Sundays (or at least it was crowded the Sunday i was there).
A very nice place with staff full of hospitality.
