Taxi in Kisumu is extremely expensive with all drivers claim for the empty vehicle way back to their base. I used it several times , the charge independent of the distance is always 1000KES. This may be because I'm European, who knows. Negotiation is not possible, all drivers keep to their general fee. Not recommended
