Pros: Friendly manager allowed our friend’s puppy to stay, very nice. Beach is clean and beautiful. Staff was friendly. Cons: No shade by pool (?!). Staff is totally untrained, it seemed like it was everyone’s first day on the job. Guys begging for money on the beach all day long. Night guard came to our room asking for money at night. The road is terrible and damaged our car. The rooms are very spartan. The sea there is full of something called sand lice, which stings like a jellyfish. Generally shabby. Very overpriced for what we got, even during peak season.
A die for for beach front, beautifully rooms, they could work on better food, and drop the prices. One downfall the streach of bad 25mins drive road.
The beach is a dream and secluded enough to keep away the beach boys. The room is one of the largest I've seen in Kenya, with a beautiful small terrace to relax in the evening. The fusion food was delicious. Professional staff, kind but not intrusive (for solo travelers it's important). Thanks to the Hotel Manager Renato and to all the staff ... keep it up ... I'll be back as soon as I can

Its a well organized and beautiful sceneries with adequate parking space and also suitable for everyone regardless of the age or gender.
The Road to the Resort is terrible, approx 45mins drive from the main road, therefore driving in the night is not an option. The food is horrible. Eating out means driving through the bad road. Ignorant Staff. Not a vacation spot for sure. Avoid if you can!
