Bomas of Kenya version in Mombasa. A replica of traditional homes of different Kenyan tribes while reclaiming an old quarry. Here you get to know how Kenyan tribes lived and interacted before the invasion of Western culture. It is an historical centre and a small entry fee is charged. Local and international visitors are welcome.
Good family attraction. The site is a former quarry revitalised in a project inspired by Haller Park. There’s a small open-air museum presenting the main Kenyan tribes, with hands-on activities and a dance performance.
Shanzu girl guides is a must visit. They work hard and are very kind. They do special orders and have great gifts for friends or items for yourself. I have to get something everytime I come.
A lovely place to be, I recommend for visits..
