A hidden gem in Kenya. You get to hike in the wild with a possibility of encountering the big 5. We came across a big elephant bull. Its exhilarating. And you are walking. It has secret pools, untouched and soooooo beautiful and blue. And you get to swim in the cool waters from Mt. Kenya with the view of the waterfalls. It was worth it and amazing guides and security.

Wonderful place to go hiking as a group, or a couple. It boasts of various species of indeginous flora, and birds.

Enjoyed the nature trail, the dip in the natural pools and canopy bridge. This is definitely a must see.

The canopy walk is very daunting but worth going through. Beautigul forest. The resident rates need to be revised though. The campoy walk is 2k per person and then a hike and walk into the forest another 2k per person then you have to pay a guide another 1k and another 1k to park the car. I find this very ridiculous. This is why locals hardly ever visit sites like this.

This is a decent, green place with multiple river crossings, salt licks, water falls, plunge pools and a lot of wildlife. A few issues though; the park opens at 'around' 8 and getting in is slow, several rules such as littering, very loud music aren't really enforced so not the most pleasant. Had a major issue with flies on the day we hiked the whole way up and down. The pools also are apparently most of the year not clear blue but green despite how its marketed. The canopy, clean icy spring water to swim in, and setting are very nice but I'm fearful that it having very laxed rules it may not last as a pristine area. Guides are knowledgeable, most roads accessible by any car type except for small patches towards the main waterfalls which you can easily trek. Gets very hot also.

It's a nice place to be. Especially for though who love nature. It has a diversity of fauna, and a beautiful waterfall. Also a 260 m canopy walk is a major attraction point to Ngare ndare.
