The company handles various types of cargo namely: Containerized, Loose Cargo, Fuel & Special Cargo transportation. It can handle up to 7000 metric tons of cargo daily depending on the availability of goods at the port or warehouse. Security : A. O. Bayusuf has electric perimeter fences, high wall, CCTV & several security guards during the day &night across all it's yard. Cargo transport: The company has in the past transported thousands of tonnes of relief cargo to various destinations within East & Central Africa. We have been transporting to Eastern Ethiopia Ogaden, Direwa in the province of Harage. Gulu and Moroto in Uganda for World Food Programme (WFP), Koboko in Southern Sudan for the Norwegian Peoples Aid (NPA) &to Bunjumbura, Burundi for food & Agriculture Organisation (FAO) at the moment the company continues to transport to several destinations within East and Central Africa. Drivers : Heavy Commercial drivers employed by the company have over 20 years experience & are holders of AA & Safe Drivers Certificate. Workshop: A.O. Bayusuf state of the art modern workshop equipment & qualified staff with enough experience to handle maintenance & repairs. Vehicles & Equipment: The company is one of the major transporters in Kenya owning a fleet of over 250 trucks & trailers. The heavy commercial vehicles comprise of Mercedes Benz, Renault, MAN, Mitsubishi trucks & equipment as follows: - Semi-trailer with loading capacity of up to 35 tons. - Fuel Tanks with loading capacity of 12,000 liters to 43,000 liters. - LPG Tanks with loading capacity of 7 tons to 21 tons. - 15 ton vehicles - Draw-bar trailers with loading capacity of up to 36 tons. - Pole-trailers expandable 60 meters. - Low-loaders with capacities ranging from 30 to 200 tons. - Forklifts and 60 tons cranes
