Its amazing to see a hotel that has stood for 118yearsnans still going strong. This hidden in the first row street of Mombasas Old Town,Hotel Africa is a true relic of history. You can view the photo gallery inside the hotel and make some donation that will go towards renovations and sprucing up the aging structure to give it more life.

It's a construction side with some pictures. On the door they are talking about a donation - inside they are asking for a entrance fee/500 ksh. There is nearly nothing to see apart from the tools of the workers. Which kind of business is this?
A good place. Its quite hidden and most people dont know about. Get a guide to take you from fort Jesus. Tour the entire Mombasa old town while at it.
I was shocked to see the first African hotel ever ...its a place where you teach yourself about a lot of things and history about the pre colonial period
