Great plan but the walking distance is long! It'll take you about 20-30 mins walking from one end to the other. I wish they can construct a shade on the bridge because the sun is never kind in Mombasa.

It has enabled the reduced traffic on the ferry especially in the covid times. The bridge is also safe to walk on with little children since its been railed all the way through. Its also stable and doesn't shake much due to currents as you walk thorough which makes it okay for persons that have sea sickness issues or mere phobia for sea water. Its also nice if you would love to watch the sun set and take nice photos of the sun set.
Great initiative but the long walk from the road the crossing over it and the getting to your destination is tiresome. Advice: avoid heavy luggage, you'll curse yourself.
Saves time than ferry ️ now contractors think of making a bridge for vehicle
It's convinient,, just arriving and going across no waiting like ferry,, no good sea view coz the safety fence is same height as many people's height so can't enjoy the sea view.. operation hours are so few,, possibly Sunday it should remain for long,, if no vessels are moving moving
Nice bridge tho time of operation is kind of tricky! Ships keep on delays its operation. Hope they come up with a better schedule
Easy access and movement on the bridge
Compared to the ferry crossing, it's quite far to get to this point by foot on the island side. I
