Its good. You feel the sea breeze. Located at a calm place. Lovely rooms. Good for hangout with a group of friends. Great utensils. Spacious rooms. Clean rooms. Flow of water . A few stubborn monkeys though. Good owners, very nice. Drinks available though at a higher cost. Generally a good place for sleeping. Diani is great

The ups: The place is generally nice I enjoyed my stay, in terms of privacy. The ambience is good Staff are very helpful A very very secure place. I had carried a lot of cash with me and used to leave it in the house but I found it intact. Amigo is a charmer, very friendly dog and am not even a dog person. Very family friendly especially if you have a baby (s) (except for the bit about very hard tap water) Has a serene and quiet ambience. They don’t kick you out when it’s time to check out like a hotel would The downs: In my 4 days’ stay they did not change my bedding or add supplies like bathing soaps. Also, the rooms inside are too old fashioned, no television, no drinking water provided, old fashioned utensils. The bar has no music and WiFi is only available in the restaurant and not in the rooms. There are no safes in the rooms to keep valuables. There’s a huge Gabbage pit within the residence and it’s never emptied. Tap water is too salty, I wondered what would have happened to my clothes if I was to do my laundry. The seats in the rooms have very old fashioned designs and pillows (I saw such when I was a child) Verdict: Beautiful place that management has totally neglected. If u are to stay for just afew nights (less than 4) I would highly recommend it, it’s a great place. But I would not recommend the place for someone looking to stay for a week or more.

I enjoyed my stay at Wayside. Everything is as described in their website. The ambiance is super cool and the staff super friendly. I am an animal lover, Amigo and Bella( The 2 dogs) are awesome company as well, and they would always escort me to the beach. I recommend...
We stayed here for 4 nights and LOVED it. There are 9 apartments total, arranged around a big swimming pool. Each appt. is around the same size and very good quality. Ours was an open plan - 2 bedrooms with no doors, 1 bathroom, a large kitchen and a lounge area with a big table, couch, chairs, coffee table, etc....The staff are very helpful. Even the day of departure was 1800 they don't kick you out like other hotels do. I highly recommend this place.
Good location but needs proper renovation everything is looking old and used it could be nice with a good make over-investment
