Our journey began with a group of close friends sitting and wondering together. “What can we do to leave the world a better place than we found it?” “What type of impact can we create and deliver to the world as part of our contribution towards ensuring the next generation is better off than we are?” Green manufacturing! A resolve was passed. We collectively agreed to produce a pencil, but not just any, one with potential! Our founding belief is that success starts with a pencil. A pencil is the first writing tool we all encounter in our journey of life. Through a pencil creativity is born; passion is activated in a child endowed with potential, to have it manifested it into reality. A pencil is a simple but yet powerful tool. However, the sad truth is that in our insatiable quest for creative writing; we continuously destroy our planet in return. The world consumes an average of 14 billion pencils, the majority made from wood as the primary raw material thus resulting million of trees cut in the process.We felt that an alternative solution was necessary; we present MOMO pencils to you.
