Association of Charitable Children institutions of Kenya (ACCIK) is a national umbrella body of registered charitable children institutions (CCI’s) providing residential care for children in need of care and protection in Kenya. ACCIK was founded in 2009 and it’s governed by a National executive Committee drawn from its membership. Its goal is to improve capacities of charitable children institutions’ and local communities to enable them provide quality and appropriate care to children in need of care and protection. Since inception ACCIK has been running child protection and alternative care programs in all 47 counties of Kenya through its 355 member organizations.
