Nice market with plenty of authentic deals for local items. Beware of these people trying to assist you. They will make the cost increase by as much as they can get away with. Once they are with you they will be hard to get rid of. If anyone offers to assist you , just be polite and decline the offer. Many vendors sell the same items so price around in order to get the best deal. Try to bargain with every vendor.

This outdoors version, under the trees by Nairobi River and Kijabe Street is quieter, cool because of the trees, with just as much beauty and variety. I enjoyed today Nairobi River though - Kenya, we MUST clean up :-(

The place is good and big, have a lit of options. Keep away from guys that told you choose what you want and price will be with me as they are just handling you to earn more money from you. Keep your talk with the sellers themselves. And negotiate the price as much as you can

Lets just say this place has its lows but with some pretty good highs. The range of artifacts is immense and you will totally love the selection if you're one with this taste. The number of brokers is annoying, but its a Kenyan thing so get along with it and make it work for you. What this means is that if you are a foreigner, you will most likely be charged three to four times the price charged to a local. Even locals with little information about this will also be treated likewise. So its best you go with someone who has a clue whats up amd you can save many a penny. I went for specific stuff i was looking for so my images are not a representation of whats generally available. May update this post in future with more images.
