Michael has addressed African leaders at an international ‘Peace through Sports’ forum in Monaco and has been invited to speak to business leaders in Kenya on behalf of the Australian High Commission. Michael wasn’t always a master sales mentor. Raised to the sound track of dysfunction, Michael Flynn grew up in a tough neighborhood in Sydney, Australia. With an absent father and alcoholic mother, Michael was raised with the expectation that he would never amount to anything. In the beginning, success to Michael was making quick money. But money easily made, easily goes, and Michael soon found himself close to prison and at times, death. Yet as the saying goes, it’s always darkest before the dawn, Michael Flynn changed directions in life, and focused on positive self-growth and his own personal transformation. As said by Michael, “I succeeded, but I also failed; my life bears the beautiful learnings of failure.” In 2007 Michael came to Kenya and founded a nonprofit NGO called Little Sports Organization. LSO has given Kenyan children the right to play while exposing them to valuable life skills learned through sport. LSO is active in 25 schools in Mombasa and Kwale counties in Kenya. The organization develops sports and life skills for 12,000 children every week while creating fifty jobs for people in the community. Michael’s mission in life is to help people awaken the seed of greatness that he believes we each carry inside of us.
