N’ASA is the acronym for Nairobi University Actuarial Students’ Association. The Actuarial Science Program was founded at the University in 2002 and has seen numerous classes of graduates go through the system to date. Professor Weke is the patron of the Association and has unceasingly helped the committees over the years to achieve their plans for the academic year. N’ASA membership is open to Actuarial Science students in the University and the Alumni who are now actuaries. Our objectives are: 1). To promote the welfare of students under the Department of Actuarial Science. 2). To bridge the gap between the student body, the University and the corporate fraternity. 3). To liaise with other associations for mutual benefit for the members. 4). To work with established professional institutions and ensure students play a more active role in shaping the future of the industry and the Actuarial profession.
