Love different nature across the park: from hippo & rhino to lions. Even though landscape is changing now, it's interesting to see this. Weather is little cool in the evening which is also nice.

Easily accessible park. Beware of rising water levels. Also, make sure you call any resorts you intend to visit prior and make reservations! Most you have to book prior otherwise you will be denied entry!
Great service by the KWS team. Quick payment process. I was able to enjoy sounds of different birds but what brought me here was to see Flamingos and I did. Also spotted Zebras, monkeys, buffaloes, warthogs etc.
The place is adventurous with Buffalos, rhino's, water Bucks and more . Also shocking was the rise of water levels with previous roads and some buildings submerged in lake waters. But the night at the hostels was nice being kept busy by hyenas yelling close to the fence.
Services at the office could be faster.. selling refreshments would also be a great idea

The park has at least three points of entry, the main one (leading to the head quarter) being somewhere in the heart of the town at the tail end of flamingo road... Payment is necessary for access to the park and this may be done at any of the entry points. Charges at the time of my visit were KSHS. 800.00 for adults, Kshs 200.00 for child and Kshs. 300.00 for a salon car. Staff quite friendly and helpful right from the gate... Special note... During rainy seasons, the waters may breach the banks and render the roads that allow for a circuit drive impassable. You may want to contact the office before hand and find out which entry point will help you accomplish mission for visiting...
