Overall good experience. Food service was a bit below expectation, lacked options. Rooms were well maintained. Service was good. Clear view of mount Kenya peak from the hotel and a good location for stargazing. They have open fields and also a river stream that gives you a good adventure vibe. Overall surrounded by nature and is best for giving you the privacy you need.

Lack of maintenance & service pulls down such a nice & big lodge. Location is great, just 6.3 kms from Naro Moru Mt Kenya gate. In a fine morning you can see Mt Kenya peak from the lodge. The compound is big & beautiful with lush green garden, flowering plants & big trees (woods) in backyard. Swimming pool there but not cleaned regularly. Wifi is available in a limited space near reception. The rooms are good, spacious & priced appropriately. However the rooms including toilets are not cleaned. Restaurant had limited types of food & service is very bad. Food taste is average. Bottom line-compete mismatch of great staying facility & poor maintainance & service.
Very Classy and homely.
The setting is beautiful right at the foot of Mt. Kenya. The rooms are amazing and the service delivery is quick, I really enjoyed my stay there thanks to a great delivery team from the Manager to the Receptionist, to the Bar tender and don't forget the Chef great food, plus the team alongside them. Definitely a place to stay when you are in that area.
