Truly Parmalok Island is the Island of love in Kenya. This was our first camping destination after the lockdowns. You fall in love on the first approach to the island from the mainland. The campsite is located on the raised part of the island so no threats from hippos. There is only one family living on the other side of the island so you get to enjoy the privacy most camping grounds don't provide. The staff are friendly and the local tour guides are well conversant with the area. If you are lucky enough you will get to feed the African fish eagle . I am definitely Planning to visit again in December.
