Had a lovely night at Camp Carnelley’s this week. Stayed in one of the bandas which are basic but comfortable and quite romantic especially if you light a bonfire. We ate at the restaurant Lazy Bones which is always a favourite. Great food great service and great atmosphere. We’ll be back. You’re also quite likely to see a hippo grazing on the shore and a troupe of colobus monkeys.

Nice place very chill and hippos wander in during night next door so you can spit them with a good spotlight.. The showers and bathrooms are ok.. The restaurant is really good I would recommend the nachos.. The pizze are not the best..

Carnelleys is a special place . Both as a family spot or in group with friends . They do have comfortable cottages , Dorms and for the more adventures a camping spot. The in house restaurant offers sumptious meals our favourite being the Swahili fish and rice . The staff are well trained and are very friendly. Thank You Carnelleys for a wonderful weekend.

Very nice place also very good to relax and eat wonderful food. I slept at the dormitory and for 1000 (1500 during peak season) you have a very nice place to stay. This place is well known of a lot of backpacker so it's a good base to visit the region and meet new people (and pay for a boat together for example). And the vue is very very exciting. For the cons I would just say that the bed weren't so great and that the restaurant is a bit expensive (like 1000ksh for a meal). Also notice that the electricity outlet are outside but it wasn't a big problem for me. Oh and if you want to hire bikes hire them directly at the reception.

Wonderful spot on Lake Naivasha, with camping grounds as well as Bandas. You can just sit outside and watch as many species of birds, monkeys will go by - you might even spot the ginger tabby house cat! They can organize boating expeditions as well as bikes to cycle into Hell's Gate national park.

When we got there it was just starting to rain and it looked dull. However we were served by Daniel who was a great waiter. The food was excellent!!!It was fresh and very tasty. Try the pizza and the burgers ! I will definitely go back there again. Btw, we just went for lunch. So this is about the restaurant only.
