UPDATE... Next time I am here, give me a different view of the city...currently in 747... I did get room 949 the next week I was going to climb Mt Kenya with my son...After arriving at Kempinski (my initial stay was just 2 nights then I move closer to Mt Kenya), I immediately called my husband who was in NJ with his mom to celebrate his birthday and said, our next stay would be Kempinski! After the first night, offcourse with me turning vlogger overnight, I kept my family abreast of all goings, happenings about the hotel and would you believe, they decided to join me in Nairobi to experience all that I was telling them through words, videos and pictures! Flights booked, we agreed after the Mt Kenya climb, we would meet at the hotel (given my husband had to fly back to Atlanta and pack for Kenya, while mom was to drive to NY and catch a flight from there!) All in all, never has a hotel/Any hotel made us spend several thousands of dollars impromptu! We plan way ahead and ensure things are done way in advance! Kempinski Nairobi, you stood out from my over a decade travelling years! Anne at the front desk who cooked/planned flights with me till 4am Winnie head of reservations who bent over backwards to accommodate our insane asks/requests through Anne. Evans, Daniel & Martin from concierge who ensured our goings and comings were smooth. Beatrice who did the initial booking of two nights who I spoke to FIRST and started the ball rolling. Perpetual who I never met but picked all my calls during my stay. Joshua who ensured my muddied clothes from Mt Kenya were as good as new. Late check out (8pm) on our last day was the icing on this tremendous trip! We look forward to coming back and thank you for giving me such a memorable trip!
Brunch today was great! Chef Rachel outdid herself the ambiance was great, the help was attentive and the bubbly didn't stop flowingawesome live band too! see you again real soon!
Kempinsky leaves upto it's standards as a 5 star hotel. It was my first time hear and I really enjoyed all the services they offered. From food to there food. It is worth the price. Amazing internet speeds On day 2 here, I came with my motorbike and I was not pleased with the way they treat riders. That's a minus on them. Not everyone who comes to your hotel has a car.
Quintessential luxury experience in every aspect. Would highly recommend. We had high expectations and they were easily surpassed. Special thanks goes to tremendous team of hosts, including: Samson, Fred, Evans, Antony, Kenneth and Martin. These guys made us feel like family and we miss them already. In the restaurant, the food is exquisite and staff is phenomenal. We must call out Spain (Edwin) who is a star in the making in the hospitality industry. 5 stars all the way!!
It's been a while since I had such an amazing experience... Food was amazing... Today's soup of the day was tantalizing just to say the least... I'd live off it Great service. The place is Clean! CLEAN! Ample parking space Security The lavatory... Spotlessly clean. For my girls who love huge mirrors you'll love it here
Villa rosa is on a class of its own as far as customer responsiveness and care is concerned. Staff members are very friendly and alert and the meals are terrific! Definitely worth every penny you spend..:)
