Marijani is the perfect place to be. More than what i expected. It feels like home away from home. Their hospitality, welcoming heart not also forgetting Bui's food. I had the best vacation in quiet a long time. If i was asked to stay there forever i would probably say YES.

Very welcoming and well managed. Location just minutes from the ocean and in the heart of Watamu village. Shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Only drawback is lack of air conditioning but they do have a well maintained swimming pool for residents.

I enjoyed staying at marijan resort . Its is very welcoming and well managed . The staff as nice and coordinating . Its near the beach and watamu village . Hoping to be back another time
Marijani surpassed my expectations. It's a really nice place to stay, the environment is cool, compound is beautiful and spacious. Lots of roof top space. The garden is beautiful as well. If you are a pet person then you will enjoy ( dogs and rabbits). The pool is heavenly, clean and well maintained, bigger than I expected. Marijani is a minute away from the beach ( walking distance), and close to amenities as well ( eat outs, supermarket, wines and spirits store, nyama choma chill place) Bui is a perfect host, very helpful, welcoming and nice. He's a great cook. The support staff were awesome as well. Cleaning was done on time every day. I'm definitely going back to Marijani. I got waaaay more than I paid for. 10/10 rating.
Loved the hospitality at this place, Bui the manager was really great and attentive to detail. Our room was clean and comfortable. The swimming pool is lovely and I enjoyed spending time in there. WiFi worked great and I was able to get some work done while down there. The resort has a Tuktuk and motorcycle that is available to ferry guests within watamu so this is a plus. Nice restaurants and shops all within walking distance. Best thing about this place for me was the friendly dog Toby.
After having issues with another hotel, Marijani made me feel welcomed and secure. The staff is very nice and helpful. The management was very flexible about small changes to the reservation I had to make in a rush. Rooms were nice and clean, so was the pool. Manager is a great chef. I totally recommend!
stayed here about 2 years ago. I'm planning on visiting this part of kenya again soon. the resort is good, rooms are spacious and mostly quiet. and the place is very very very close to the beach. This is my absolute favourite part. I often just walked out and was already in the beach! Though when I was there, there was some sort of dumpsite not far away which wasnt just an eyesore but unhygienic as well. I hope the management got in touch with county services to sort that out. The owners of this hotel are sitting on a goldmine, please renovate the resort to modern standards guys! I would love to come back!
