Mvono Community Centre is nonpolitical, nonprofit, Community Based Organization in Taita Taveta County in the Kenyan Coast that takes care of orphans and Widows. Mission: An Empowered and healthy group of less fortunate. Vision: To give decent living through providing basic needs and support to orphaned & vulnerable children, widows and Gender Based Victims. Main activities are based on financial, emotional, psychological and physical support; with emphasis on education for OVC and economic empowerment for widows. This 1acre plot here at Wundanyi Town in Mambela, Mwanda Village was allocated by the then Town Council of Wundanyi to put up the children’s home. The organization is mobilizing resources for the construction of the Children home. Currently they are supporting over 264 OVC.
