FIT Resources is a Kenyan enterprise and development agency that promotes sustainable development for growing enterprises. In so doing, FIT partners with the donor community, governments and the private sector to ensure sustainable and equitable economic growth that impacts a greater proportion of the population across genders and among the most vulnerable and disadvantaged members of the community for effective poverty alleviation. FIT aims to improve the supply of sustainable services that are critical to the entry, survival, productivity, competitiveness and growth of enterprises. FIT believes that sustainability increases enterprise growth and generates employment as one instrument of reducing poverty. This requires a range of integrated services that respond to challenges and constraints along various value chains with a focus on enhancing performance and impact. FIT is part of an International network of organizations initiated by International Labour Organization (ILO) in the early 90s, in six African Countries in East, Central and West Africa; Kenya, Uganda, and Ghana.
