Simple nice and quiet. Fresh food

Had to stay a night in Kapsabet, so picked up Eden Springs on a colleague's recommendation. Reasonable according to the standards of a small town. I stayed in the Executive Room which costs 6500KES/night for BnB. It's not a modern hotel, but is neat. The rooms are secured by padlocks and you've to carry the key with you. The Executive room is connected by the neighboring Executive room with a door which is locked, but privacy may be an issue (luckily the next room was vacant, so i couldn't test my hypothesis). The bed is a little small for two people. The TV wasn't working. Wifi is a little slow. There's no extension/phone in the room to call the reception. There's a pool and gym, which I didn't try. The restaurant is large, and the menu is vast, and fortunately for me they serve Halaal food. I found the taste a little bland by my standards, but it may be better suited to local palates. Also the restaurant had some flies, and at dinner time, a stray cat was comfortably lurking around. The place has a very nice outdoor seating area, which is great to sit in the evenings and have some tea/coffee. The staff is as helpful as they can be, although not very professional.
It is a good place to visit since they have a swimming pool and good food, their swimming pool isn't that clean but I hope they will improve on cleaning it
Very cool place to be,,,,,i cant give five stars because the food is really expensive and very little,,,,,,,but cant regret about my experience there
Cool environment to relax .. children friendly
Nice place however needs enhanced facelift
Great customer service. Helpful staff and plenty of parking.
