Visited KEFRI forest with friends for a trek.It took us 5hours to cover 15 kilometers It's a beautiful and serene place for anyone who loves to walk for fitness,or just for the sake. It's suitable for family as the terrain is even.You need a guide to walk you through the forest though.

Maybe next time I should purpose to get in and get a walk within the premises. However, if the environment around it is anything to go by, this is truly the heart of Kenyan forestry (research). Good, serene environment for a leisure walk, interact with nature or even where you can jog.
