The Kenya Universities and colleges Placement Service (KUCCPS) is a corporate body established under the Universities Act 2012 to succeed the Joint Admissions Board (JAB). Established as a Body Corporate under Section 55 of the Universities Act, 2012 we have the following functions; 1. To co-ordinate the Placement of the Government Sponsored Students to Universities and Colleges. 2. Disseminate information on available programmes , their costs, and the areas of study prioritized by the Government. 3. Collect and retain data relating to University and College placement. 4. Develop career guidance programmes for the benefit of students. 5. Advise the Government on matters relating to University and College student placement.
