Service to humanity and beyond is the description I'd give for this place. It's amazing how much damage as a human race we inflict to every other species we share th earth with especially Marine life. But don't despair there's a solution. Be mindful. It will cost you 500 kes for residents for a 45 min to 1 hour tour around the facility. As the mantra goes around here, don't destroy what you came to enjoy.

Great place to learn of the plight of Turtles. Very educational walk to teach you how to think more about our environment, pollution and mans affects on our planet. It also takes in injured Turtles into its hospital, we saw an unfortunate Olive Ridley female Turtle who floats and can't dive due to a blockage in her guts. Wonderful yet sad to see. You can adopt a Turtle too. Great for children and adults. Donation is required for entry

A rescue centre & hospital for Turtles. Turtles are endangered species due to human wildlife conflict & this centre looks after them if they are victims of poaching. It also treats them from various illness or diseases

Please visit this amazing conservation project! A highlight from our time in Watamu and so eye opening to the needs of the local wildlife. Such an informative and interesting tour and got to meet a very sweet turtle in the hospital. Book a 1 hr time slot online and donate generously- they doing such incredible and inspiring work with no government funding.

Good experience for both adults and kids... learn a lots about sea turtles. Do not expect to see a turtle everytime you go there as it's mainly a hospital for turtles and protection of the eggs to be able to have a chance to go to maturity. They work hard to protect those animals and also educate people. Good job.
