I was checking out Malo stables as I look for something for my 5 year old daughter to do over school holidays. Ponies are available for training of children such as mine. The programme is run based on time slots that will ensure no waiting if adhered to - and adherence to time slots is a must. I watched a training session for some teenagers and I was impressed. This is no take-a-walk-on-a-horsey outfit. They are dead serious. Riding lessons will cost KShs. 4,000/ a lesson which in these times is steep, but a look around the Karen area confirmed costs fall in the same range. Distinction then will be on the training provided. Join me!

One of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. The horses are the best breed you could ever find and are well trained. They offer horse riding for fun and they also have lessons. I highly recommend this place.

Rode here during my two years in Kenya. They take great care of the horses and the local Kenyans are very kind. The teachers are all exceptional, olympians rotating in from Denmark to take time off. The owner is lovely and a great trainer herself; her family is also very kind. The grounds are gorgeous. It’s a haven. the cats are friendly & cute :)
