Such an intimate camp nestled smack in the middle nature with the accompanying sounds of leopards, hyenas and other wildlife roaming in the area. The staff are amazingly helpful and the remote control rooftop made the sunrise in the morning such a spectacular event. A must visit!
Wow - what can I say - this is one of the most incredible places we've ever stayed. The location is amazing - there are only 6 tents which gives you a real sense of exclusivity The conservancy itself is fantastic - a few real benefits of the conservancy are that only 4 cars are allowed on any one animal, you can get out of the car and have a picnic and you are able to go on walking safaris. Also your money goes directly back into the conservation of the area and the local Masi tribes. The staff were amazing, firstly Nash our safari guide was incredible, she's one of the few female safari guides, really knowledgeable, eyes like a hawk and really persevered to find the best animals to see. A massive thanks Nash. We'd like to say Hi and a massive thanks to all the other staff:- William the Hotel Manager - an absolute star Manfred running the F&B - always on hand for food and drinks Robert - the most amazing Chef (we even helped cook a meal with him and learnt a lot) Maria in the front office - thanks for your diligence The amazing Masi Warrior security team Patrick, Timothy and Peter - thanks for keeping us safe and entertaining us on the walking safaris And last and not least Mako and Julius - the maintenance team keeping the whole camp running. A wonderful team The tents themselves are stunning, you can open all the sides and have a great view out looking at giraffes, zebras and elephants. The roof slides open so you can sleep under the stars, there's a big comfortable bed, an indoor and outdoor shower and lots of little extras that make it a really comfortable stay. If you are looking for a place to experience the Masi Mara I can highly recommend staying here - you will not regret it.
