In-store shopping
Best place for bargain mitumba shopping. Don't be scared, go deep inside and find the open air stalls. You can buy a dress for 500 only to find it again for 200-300 at a different place and with determination for less than 100. The place stinks and sewage runs through, so yeah, get closed shoes and bring a strong gut. Have a plan of what you need and set limits. You can easily leave with too many purchases.

Apart from the high number of people which is expected Gikomba Market is a haven of all the things you need at the convenience of your pocket. It has become a safe environment to trade.
Datoxmasonjars has this kitchen ware, glass ware and packaging supplies
Chaotic! but seems like it's only with chaos you know there is business!
People are open by 4am. great prices. Great service. Early bird really catches the warm. I loved the area.
Gikomba is generally a great space and place to find cheap and original second hand staff. However, be cautious of what you buy and where you visit. Plus protect your accessories such as phones and jewelries
Worth the thrifting experience, value for money. But in the wet weather definitely wear gumboots. Avoid brokers as well. Rather ask for items you are looking for from other vendors you have purchased from.
It was awesome, only that there is alot of congestion in the market. People are keeping safe by observing the covid 19 measures
