Beautiful. The atmosphere is ambient and the people attending to you kind. The place has a welcoming environment that makes it easy to fuse into the art and culture center it is. I definitely loved it.

Safe pay-as-you go parking spot in the Nairobi CBD. Also host to a number of theatre performances by local thespians. Or you can hang out on the balcony of the bar upstairs and just. . .chill

This is the place previously known as The National Theatre, built by the former colonialists, and is still the centre of those aspiring to be actors, musicians, etc. The music rooms are still in great shape and instrument classes such as piano, violin, guitar, drums, etc together with voice training are available at a reasonable price, and within a flexible schedule. There is also a restaurant and bar on site, and the parking is secure.

The staff are kind polite and respond in time when called upon. Plus it is a very clean, organised and spacious place. Covid 19 rules are strictly adhered to.

The Ministry of Culture needs to invest more in promoting and conserving the Kenya Cultural Centre. It is very unfortunate the KNT is just a space. A cultural centre is not fully functional unless it involves artists, musicians, actors and curators in their operations. What's the point of having a cultural centre if there's no content productions? Unless it is a cooperate venue. KNT's role should be more of a creative space for artists and a venue for promoting culture and arts. My honest opinion as a concerned Artist.
