The National Steering Committee on Peacebuilding and Conflict Management (NSC) is an interagency committee that was established in 2001 and a secretariat to support it was fully operationalized during the 2002/3 financial year within the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government. As an interagency, the NSC brings together peace stakeholders in a bid to coordinate and consolidate efforts geared towards peace building and conflict management in Kenya as well as cross-border.
