But what happens when the charity leaves and the money runs out? What about the on-going needs? Rauka Trust is different. We want to help communities work their way out of poverty. In each project, we want to use local people and local businesses to complete the work. Where skill sets are missing, we plan to equip people with those skills, thus empowering them with valuable knowledge to be used again in enterprise. This is how a community can be sustained.
