Quarry Garden

Simply Beautiful

This place is withine the Nairobi National Museum and is part of the 16 botanical gardens within the Museum that are rarely visited but am hoping this review show the hidden beauty and deep story of this place. The reason why it's called a quarry garden is because this place was used as a quarry and some of the stones used to build the Museum came from this place. Later on the place was rehabilitated to turn it into this beautiful green garden that brings so much peace and calm when you visit it. I noticed someone reading and a couple that looked adorable and these are some of the things you can do here. Its also perfect visit the place if you enjoy bird watching. There ramps which make the place accessible, if you and your family enjoy nature walks and are keen to explore something different this would be a good place. Also next to this place is the peace path area where you could bring your yoga mat and enjoy a relaxing yoga session, as you connect with nature.
