Loved the place and service. Friendly staff . I would recommend if you come as a couple you ask for a tent away from kids as you will hear your neighbours easily . We booked the safari car from Big Foot Safari which also i highly recommend. Our driver Amos was amazing. We booked full board so the food we got in the restaurant was delicious and had a good variety of items. I enjoyed fishing in the evening. Dinner time was exceptionally fun as they have live music at that time.

We had our stay there at the end of February 2020 before the whole pandemic started. Therefore, unfortunately I can't tell you anything about the current Corona measures. Nonetheless it is a very nice and large camp, in which there is a lot to discover, for example the Chefs Organic Garden or the camp's own lake. The tents are also very clean, very spacious and very stylish. We booked the deluxe tent for our 4 day safari and we were super happy with it. In the evening, the mosquito nets are stretched around the bed and one of the employees also gives you a warm hot water bottle for the night. On top of that, the food is really great too. You get a very large selection of very high quality, fresh and delicious food. You get something for both meat lovers and vegetarians. The best food of our entire Africa vacation. The staff is also super friendly, always have a smile on their faces and take very good care of the well-being of every single guest to make their experience unforgettable. Once for example I missed lunch because I had the wrong time in my head, but when I got to the dining area I still got something. Especially at the breakfast with sparkling wine you could really see the joy of the staff, we were joking and had a good time. Hakuna Matata is very important here, at all times. Since my girlfriend got sick in the meantime (caused by the Malaria pills), I contacted the doctor there, who was able to provide us with the necessary medicine. So health well-being is also taken care of here. We had a really great stay that we will never forget. The next time we come to Kenya, we will definitely be staying here again.
Amazing service from all the staff...from Gideon at the reception to Samuel the manager Gilbert and Allan at the buffet Kevin and a lady(forgot her name)the waiters everyone was so helpful. They moved tents for us when we requested. the waitress used to sterilize bottles for our baby. to Raphael the guard who helped me get back my wallet when i lost it.It was a stay to remember. Thank you so much
Sarova Mara Game Camp is inside the Masai Mara reserve, which makes it easier to head into a safari very quickly. They also have a watering hole on the property – we spotted a couple of elephants after dark there. Besides the amazing scenery, beautiful sunsets and plentiful game, two notable attractions worth pointing out at the camp: The Sun-Downer is a great way to celebrate a special occasion with your family. Sarova organized a private dinner with a bar, campfire and live music (mostly 70s and 80s pop music selections) on a plateau in the middle of the bush. It was a beautiful and surreal experience – I have attached some photos of the amazing sunset and camp fire. We went for safari twice a day, early morning (630AM) and late afternoon (4PM), 2-2.5 hours each time. To pass time during the afternoon, we attended a cooking class organized by the entertaining staff where they taught us how to make three Kenyan dishes, with the assistance of their expert cooks. They used ingredients from their in-house organic garden, which the manager proudly showed us around. They source almost 2/3rd of their vegetables from this garden – quite impressive. The buffet selection is quite extensive – with dozens of European, Indian and Kenyan dishes freshly prepared. The staff were very helpful and quite fun to talk with. The chef was great and the South African wine was delicious, as were the desserts! Overall, a very memorable visit!
We planned for X-Mas and expecting the good arrangements but was disappointed & the reasons is below mentioned; 1. No Good arrangements for X-mas celebration. 2. Shortage of Sitting chair in Guest areas and even after they never arranged. 3. Evening Tea time is short from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm & if you need the Tea after 4:30 pm then you’ve wait for minimum 30 minutes, which is not genuine. 4. Standard rooms are so tiny where you can’t be comfortable. 5. There is no good arrangements for Children food. 6. The food taste is not satisfactory specially Vegetarian. 7. Full day Safari they will pack you lunch as per there standard chart but actually that’s the Breakfast meal not for lunch. 8. Staffs are so humble. 9. Overall it was not so bad but it was also not good according what you are paying. Pliz maintain the above for future, will appreciate otherwise it really hard to plan back. Thanks
Amazing hotel with great service and nice little touches. The food was simply spectacular! Much better than many places in Nairobi
