They charged us a 500 per person non redeemable and nonrefundable. We didn't like the vibe or the pricing exaggerated to over 500 per local beers and poor customer service. We left after 10 minutes but got no refund and am not sure they gave us any receipt. The parking isn't friendly because despite the fact that there's corona, they still want to park your car without a choice of you parking it at the basement. On the positive side, it is very modern and has quite locally made toys but very pricey. I believe they need to be more friendly to "all" customers because we are one Kenya and our National flag and tribute leaves no room to not serve all.

I am very impressed of the standards of this hotel. The first thing that standout is their reception area. Just all open, reminded me of Apple store when you walk in to genius bar and get the best service ever. I have stayed in multiple hotels around the World and this one was one is a must if you are ever in Nairobi. Let me start with great customer service, coffee shop when you walk in, chic decor, amazing rooftop bar and the pool area restaurant where we had our breakfast was very relaxing, steak restaurant a big plus if you like eating meat. Let me not forget about the room, very comfortable room with an amazing decor where everything just fits in, perfect water pressure, great room service. I remember asking for a glass of wine and it only took them three minutes to get it to my room. The tiniest details matter and this place has captured them all. I am always impressed every time I come home and see how our standards in Africa keeps on increasing. I love my country and my continent. Cheers, The Social House

Stayed for one night and had dinner and breakfast on the premises. In short, the place is pretty in terms of decor/ambiance but not worth the prices they charge especially since their service delivery is sub par. Detailed review: On arrival, you cannot tell where check in is. I had to ask a waitress for that. The hotel and room was pretty but since we got a room on the 4th floor we were in close proximity to the bar on the 5th floor and could hear the music. The music was turned down at a bit past 9pm so that was good in terms of sleeping. We wanted rum based cocktails and there is only one in the menu (Sterling Silver), however they were out of Malibu and there was no option for substitutes which the waitress wasn't able to articulate to us we had to just make our own assumptions. The food portions are average and the taste is average as well. Interestingly the place has MANY waiters but you still wait for service and they take time to clear tables. The little things you'd assume would work don't which surprised me so much given how much food goes for. And if you've been to other restaurants in Nairobi which charge the same prices you know the service you expect and Social House falls short. I really do think training of staff will go a long way for the place because I cannot be waiting for service while your wait staff is dancing and I can see them dancing. This place is proof that pretty decor does not a good experience make.

Loved the Social House; The Other Room. The reservation process online was swift and they have your table ready at the booked time. The cheese platter starter was delicious and we also had the chicken wings that were to die for. The ambience was nice and service by my namesake Cynthia was top notch. The cocktails could use a little extra alcohol punch though. All in all, this place is worth the hype...my friends and I will try Inca next time.

The Social House is a great place to chill and relax with friends, a hangout joint, conference Centre, relaxing and hotel facility. The place has a great ambience and cozy vibe as soon as you arrive at the hotel.. the security is tight, ample parking lot, and the service providers are a world class bunch. The hotels’ architecture is welcoming and inviting and the interior design is just jaw dropping. Great place for hosting birthday, parties and anniversaries. The only problem is one can’t take picture even with his/her phone.. unless you do it “chini ya Maji” but be warned CCTV cameras are in every corner.

Loved the food, friendly staff and ample parking! I'm only giving it 4 stars as I had a stomach upset after the meal, same to my friend, who ordered a different meal. Not sure what happened. But, apart from that, we loved the restaurant, ill hopefully check out Inca next time... I was only at the restaurant on ground floor near the pool (not sure of the name)
