The ambience is quite ok depending on which day or the time of day you are there. In late evenings weekdays it's quite serine and quiet. On weekends busy and buzzing. The service is excellent though and the food done very well. Prices are also fair. Recommend for friends and family hang out.
I highly recommend Big square! If you eat a lot like me, be ready to buy many courses or bigger portions as food can be little here. But it's professionally cooked and served. If I have to use the waiter that served us as a representation of the other crew, then they are excellent. What I disliked about Big Square is that I paid bills with my mpesa then they put my contact in their database without my permission and started to bombard my phone with promotions and offers - 'would you like 20 chicken wings and a big cocacola to wash it down?' (I don't even take fizzy drinks, well, I was battling to stop taking fizzy drinks but Big Square won't allow me win the fight over sugar). After I was fed up with the unsolicited messages, I asked them to put a mark on my phone number and yank it off their database, which they did - and which makes them awesome people (at least they saved face). Please go to Big Square guys. You will also find wine here to drink.
Nice music. Volume is right. You can discuss anything and still vybe to the jams. Food is great too!
